National Gathering Waihi Beach
This Labour Weekend, 23–26 October 2026, we’re heading to Sea Esta Camp & Lodge in Waihī Beach for the Christian Surfers New Zealand National Gathering.
With the beach close by and plenty of space to hang out, it’s the perfect place to gather, reconnect and celebrate all that God is doing in surfing communities across Aotearoa.
The weekend will include surfing, worship, speakers, games, reflection, shared meals and plenty of adventure. We’ll have one or two sessions each day, with lots of time in between to surf, explore and connect with people from around the country.
National Gathering is for all ages, families and all levels of surfers. Invite your mates, bring the whānau and join us for an epic Labour Weekend at one of Aotearoa’s favourite beach towns.
New Swell Mahia
New Swell is a week of surfing, adventure, faith and leadership development for school leavers and emerging young leaders.

This year, we’re heading back to Māhia for an epic week of waves, road trips, adventure, community and growth.
Expect plenty of surfing, good times with good people, space to grow in your faith and opportunities to step into leadership.
Fish Fest
Location: Mount Maunganui
Event window: 14–15 November 2026. The competition day will be confirmed closer to the event based on conditions.
Entry: $45
Join us in Mount Maunganui for this year’s Christian Surfers Fish Fest—a creative surf competition for all ages and abilities. The final event day will be confirmed closer to the weekend.
Your entry includes a chance to win one of four handcrafted fish surfboards, shaped especially for Fish Fest by Cain Aldridge of CSA Surfboards, along with spot prizes from our sponsors.
Divisions
Open Men · Open Women · U16 Boys · U16 Girls You won’t need your own board for the heats—we’ll provide the boards, leg ropes and wax. Just bring your wetsuit if needed. There’ll also be a sausage sizzle during the day.
Heats are expected to begin at approximately 8am, with the final start time still to be confirmed. Registrations will close two days before the event.
