The camp was held on the 9-11th of March in Raglan. There was amazing waves, yummy food, sick spot prizes from RPM and Backdoor, a paddling pool full of slime and plastic Hawaiian Lei’s galore.

Deane Hishon, Gordi Webb and Emma Walker led the girls in some serious surf coaching first thing on Saturday morning. As soon as the girls could pull on their fluro pink safety arm bands they were hitting the waves and practising their new skills, hooting and hollering at each other and dominating the fun right hand bank.

We had two very special guests for the weekend, Shinko and Shinabo all the way from Japan . Not only did they absolutely shred in the surf but Shinko shared her testimony on Saturday night and had some awesome words of encouragement for all the girls.

Once again the combined effort of Raglan and North Shore Christian Surfers proved to be a winner! See you same time and place next year!
